SISCO is an integrated steel plant, which since its inception in year 1996 is manufacturing quality TMT Bars, Angles, Channels, Flat, M.S. Pipe, Sponge Iron,  Silico Manganese, Ferro Manganese in our manufacturing unit.

SISCO manufactures thermo mechanical treated re-inforcement bars under the brand name “SISCON 500D” with latest technology to ensure a combination of tempered martensite on the surface and fine grain ferrite pearlite in the core provicling higher strength, toughness and ductility. The plant operates in sync with the highest ecological standard, maintains its quality and checks its parameter in well equipped labs in the premises to ensure good quality product to give best value of money to its customers. Siscon TMT is well established in the markets of Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Orissa. Siscon TMT is also Exported in neighbor countries like Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.

PRODUCT & FEATURES

  1. SISCON TMT provides high strength and toughness to the construction. Saves 15% in
    steel consumption with use of Fe-500D grade compared to Fe415 grade.
  2. It has superior corrosion resistant characteristic and better choice in all concrete structures.
    SISCON TMT has high elongation compared to BIS specification. SISCON TMT Bars satisfy to all
    bend test around every mandrels which provides great benefit at construction site.
  3. SISCON TMT all tests conducted to evaluable its performance during
    earthquake hence is earthquake resistant.

TMT Technology
SISCO manufactures Thermo Mechanically treated reinforcement bars through
SMS using it world renowned tempered process.“SISCON 500” TMT bars is being manufactured in our state of Jharkhand at Giridih under close supervision of its front line-Senior Engineers SISCON 500D TMT is the only one that is produced through a process with adequate capabilities, process optimization, Strict control, with lowest amount of undesirable impurities and rolled in fully automated mills.
Rolling
The cocast billets, thus produced are subsequently coverted into TMT bars as per
requirement. Hot billets are charged into an online re-rolling mill without re-heating of the billets. TMT mill is equipped with alternate horizontal housing less stands, for twist free operation and accurate size control. In the finishing stands computer controlled vertical loopers have been provided for push-pull control rolling in the continuous mill.
Quenching, Temering and Cooling
After the hot rolled bars leaves the final mill stand, it is rapidly quenched by a water spray system which hardens the surface layer of the bars. After the bars are quenched the temperature of the core is higher that at the surface which results in self temering of the surface. Then the bars are placed on cooling bed where is naturally cooled by atmosphere. These process gives the bars strength and ductility.

Superior Values of Strength and High Ductility
SISCON TMT bars show rare combination of high strength with excellent ductility. The tensile to yeild strength ratios are always greater than 1.15.
Superior Corrosion Resistance
Lower carbon content and the absense of torsional residual stress allows better corrosion resistance. This unique property of SISCON TMT bars is further enhanced through a martensite layer on the outside surface, uniform microstructure and an adherent scale film formed by water quenching during rolling.
Excellent Bendability and Workability
The tough outer layer of martensite and the ductile core of the SISCON TMT bars results in excellent bendability. This Ferrite Pearlite structure allows these bars to be bent with ease.
Superior Rib Pattern
SISCON TMT bars have unique rib patterns resulting in formation of a strong bond with concrete.The mean projected rib of SISCON TMT is more than the specified values of the IS :1786 standard.The uniformity of the rib pattern ensures uniform strong bonding with concrete for the entire structure.
Seismic Property
With superior seismic properties, SISCON TMT bars ensure better protection and minimum damage to the structure in the event of an earthquake. Additional area under the curve shows the extra energy than can be dissipated before breaking. High UTS/YS indicates high strain hardening rate beyond yeild point – a requirement for EQR steel International standards also require a minimum uniform elongation at maximum stress.
